  3. Your Child’s First Visit

Thank you for choosing our office for your dental needs.

Protect your child's teeth by starting dental checkups early. The American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry say that the first dental visit should occur within six months after the baby's first tooth appears, but no later than the child's first birthday.

Most new patient visits will consist of cleaning, any necessary x-rays and a thorough examination. This visit will help us get acquainted with each other and learn about your goals and desires for your child's dental treatment.

For your convenience, our patient forms are available for you to complete on-line. If you are unable to complete prior to your child's appointment, please plan on getting to the office 15 minutes prior to your appointment time.

Working together, we can achieve a true partnership, with one common goal-keeping your child's smile beautiful and your child's teeth, gums and jaw joints healthy! We strive to make each and every visit to our office a fun one!

As a service to our patients, our practice accepts most dental insurance.

We participate with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Delta Dental, MiChild and Healthy Kids. Our treatment coordinators will prepare all the necessary forms for your dental benefits.

However, we remind you that your specific policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for your total obligation should your insurance benefits result in less coverage than anticipated.

Our team will gladly submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance company so that you will know what your benefits will be.
