Originally from Saginaw, Michigan, I’ve had the chance to call a few vibrant cities home—Baltimore, New York, and Chicago—after graduating college. But Michigan always held a special place in my heart. I grew up vacationing in Holland with my family, so when the opportunity came to return to the Mitten and be closer to family, we jumped at the chance. West Michigan offered the perfect blend of familiarity, beauty, and a slower pace after years in bustling cities.
I officially joined Little Red in May of 2025, though I’ve been connected to the practice much longer—my daughters have been patients since my oldest got her very first tooth! As both a parent and team member, I’ve seen firsthand the care, kindness, and genuine passion our doctors bring to every appointment. I feel very lucky to be part of a team that’s truly changing how children experience dentistry.
Outside of work, you can usually find me playing with my girls on our beach or non-motorized lake. I also love to run, sew, read, and travel—anything that sparks a little creativity or adventure.
At home, I share life with my husband Tom, who I’ve been married to for nearly 11 years. We have three incredible daughters—Camden (8), Charli (6), and Malin (4)—who keep life full of laughter, questions, and endless energy. Our two cats, Gunner and Clare, round out the family chaos perfectly.
A fun(?) fact: I once ran the Chicago Marathon just two weeks after surviving the strongest storm ever to hit the Baja Peninsula. My husband and I were on our honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas when Category 3 hurricane Odile made landfall on our very first night, with winds exceeding 125 mph and the eye of the storm passing directly over us. Needless to say, I no longer travel to hurricane zones during hurricane season—but the experience gave me a whole new perspective on resilience and gratitude.
What I love most about Little Red is that it's more than just a dental office—it’s a place where kids feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Being able to share this incredible space and mission with our community is something I feel deeply grateful for every single day.
